Nice song

Some of the timing is a bit of.
Some sounds are way up front and your voice is in the back.
These are technicalities the song is very nice!

Thx for Your reaction. Gave me some energy to convert some other stuff to 44kHZ. Well You maybe misunderstood the "second song" its second here on newgrounds, by other words second ´which i put into the world. Anyway, i play with sounds many different way maybe for 10 years by now. Including guitar, percussion, first pc experiments with midi keyboard, then some strange sound devices building :D (which is best of all ) then some midi mixer controlling, recording world on zoom H4, playing with that with effects and slicing , and and and.... Sound gives a wide eyed human unlimited space of creativity... "Love to acousticising" :D
Back to number - these times a may have about 10 hours of ready sound like this. Bad luck every single one does different style and genre and composition.

Try to pump up the beat a little
Set send in the effects channel of all the drums
then in send select 1
in send one effect channel.
Now put a compressor in there and make compress the drums
This will get a better pumping beat!

I think it is really good

But despite of it already being good here is some tips to make it better:
1 Watch out for samples that have a tick a speckle or a thud in it.
2 The flute... i don't know if you have a keyboard but play that melody and record it from a keyboard. After you have recorded it quantize it a little not to rigid just a little.
This way it will get the flow you are after. I know what you meant but it feels as if the flute is forced in the structure now.
3 The transition at 2 minutes is abrupt and doesn't feel natural. The way to do this is have a texture running in the background as well.
A texture is musical ambience. When you stop the first part you keep the ambience running. Take the time to make the transition natural meaning that if you start with the second part to fast it will feel somewhat out of place.
4 Use automation again the transition. When having the texture run in the background... slowly fade out when it remains last in that transition.
I think that 4 measure break would do the trick there. if not it should even be 8 measures.
5 is a question did you sing it?
6 is another question What program did you use?
7 Is another tip: i call double layered or triple layered vocals
If you take that voice and put one in with heavier but suitable long reverb and have it subtle in the background. it will create a real nice ambiance. On top of that you have the same vocals but more towards the original recording.

The good things is that the composition in its essence is perfect and hits the target you are aiming for. Set aside the small technicalities it is a great medieval love song or theme for contemplation even a theme of memories.

The image i get is a woman kneeling by the river looking at the horizon. Then slowly turning her head to look in the water where see sees her reflection and that of her knight. That has his arm around her shoulders. As she let go a fragile smile and tears start to fill her eyes, a leaf falls in the water on the face over knight. Causing the water to ripple and disturbing the image. The whole scene is a metaphor for here loosing her lover.
See bows her head even more in grief.

Thats alot of good tips i'll have to try.

Im using magix music maker 15 (legally bought)
and its just a sample voice im experimenting with till i finalize the music, after that im going to search for a vocalist.

the theme you paint fits nicley and culd have been the very goal of this track,
but for now im only aiming at the "mythical" part in itself

For an experiment it is great!!
There is so much stuff in it that could make good base for a song!
Interesting rhythms GOOOD some parts less interesting for me but thats me
Aphex twin and Art of noise spiced up in this song!!!
