I like what you have going on here that trumpet!!! At 1.11 A joy!!!!
The vocals work they are strange but i like them they give that whole high feel to this and lets be honest music is a drug!

Yeah, that's deff something I need to work on. This was done a while ago, and I've gotten a lot better at it, but still not where I want to be.
I spent about 20 minutes working out the melody at 3:04, because the original intention was to have about 4 guitar harmonies, but it got too cluttered and sounded bad, so I left it where it was with just this.

To solve your problem with the saw use a limiter in the master channel and in the channel of the saw.

Hey man

i would put this under jazz.... i can see why you are tempted to say it is old school Hip hop but to me it is jazz It is soulful and very jazzy. It doesn't have any rap with would take it to the hip hop genre. It sounds more like the jazz style called bebop.

I could say that is hip hop to but it is jazz bebop.
So my soul friend! Time show your colors :D Join the jazz gang! And let's start a group of people like they did in the old days. A group of people that inspire each other! Good Job!

90% complete :D

Real good drums sound that are compressed in a awesome way.
The percussion added is a real good touch.
The baseline sounds awesome. However personally i like the first part of that baseline better for the song and i would used that in general and the longer baseline in the breaks. But that is just a personal opinion. No points of.
That being said it misses something... A gimmick and extra a thing that will take this up to a level that can compete with Benassi or Le Grand.
This can be short part sample vocal or a melody.
Or just downright vocals.
So in my opinion it as a professional production that can compete with the best out there. It just misses that extra 10 % of completion.

In terms of quality ( that is what i am reviewing ) It is perfect! Just write good lyrics and have a vocalist sing on this track and you are on your way to become a star man!

Thanks for reviewing man, I'm glad you like it. So about what you said, I'll probably open it up tomorrow arvo and try add some stuff to it. As I said up there, it could have been better so I'll try aye. Oh yeah and about vocals, I might record a few weird whispers and stuff to use for fx but I'm not sure if I could find an accapella that would work with this. Anyways, thanks for checking it out :)

I could say: Lord of the Rings, Troy, Alexander, Spartacus, 300. I mean Just any movie with large epic battles. I could hear were your inspiration came from and it would fit that game very good it is Awesome EPIC and sounds downright like a battle preparation of the Demonic Army.

Oh really good!

What i was not that into was the seperated parts of the beginning and the end.
But that is just a personal opinion.
I like the introduction of the really good baseline at 2:03
It grows and gets more complex i really dig that!
But then the ending comes and it takes me back to the beginning leaving almost all that has been introduced in the middle behind.
Personally i would have loved to hear a melting of the two styles at the end and that it would have come to a counclusion in fushion.
But that is just my personal approach. So i can not deuct any points of the rating because it is damn good!

Yea, I was considering trying to fuse the two styles but had enough trouble transitioning from one to the other so figured they weren't entirely complimentary. Definitely something to keep in mind for expansion though. Can make -anything- work if you try hard enough. :D
