You should stop

putting them under oldskool hiphop lol what do i have to do to convince you let go of the ignorent surroundings of that small town that doesn't understand or recognize jazz even when it was punching them in the face LOL.
This is so amazingly good bebop that it makes me want to get on the dancefloor and do some slick moves on it ;) 7/5 14/10 :D

Kamikazi1 responds:

Ha ha busta move! I wish i could get up out of this place man.

It is so damn smooth that

i just took slide of my chair onto the gorund.
We should work together on a album!

Kamikazi1 responds:

lol awesome man thanks!

Great title

And great song although the diversion could have come a bit sooner for my taste the dryness of the clap was just great! All in all it is a great song as are many of your songs they have a language of it's own and if i didn't know any better you are saying to me now that we should work on album together and release it!
:D Yes it is a proposal!

Kamikazi1 responds:

man i would love to work on an album together :D

What the f man

Just great! It would be great to have actual lyrics in this mix as well.
Together with all you have right here! Thge ending is what caught me of guard.
It was great but somehow a bit strange in some sort unfinished loopstyle where i am wishing for the second four measures. The way that is right now is suprising and very original and i think that is even better!

Kamikazi1 responds:

thanks man, i had a blast mixing this one!

:) just great

He is not referring to war of the worlds the movie ;)
But the Album War of the worlds by Jeff Wayne and at some parts he is right ;)
It has the same awesome style at some parts! Just amazing!

Aaaahhh - that makes a lot more sense. I appreciate it! Thanks. :-)

It is Dance

Dance is only a narrow genre if you know the one part.
There is 80ties dance 90ties dance new millenium dance.
This is most certain dance but just not the fast happy dance from the past 10 years

Thanks! I'm thinking I'd like to redo the B section of this one, so I'll let you know when I post a new one.

:) Man You could have been the fifth

Beatle! 9/10 5/5

broosree responds:

Haha - I'm not sure where I'd cite an influence for this one...maybe a spiritual meets a 'Devil Went Down to Georgia.' The immediate impetus to make the song was Gaiman, as I said. Thanks!

I think it is very good

However your voice sounds better without the auto tune effect.
Then again it is very suited for this song. Although some people will just hate the autotune. Some parts remind me of: My love wears forbidden colours By David Bowie and Riyuchi Sakamoto. Other parts have a feel of OMD over it.
All in all great composition wonderfull song!

broosree responds:

Thanks - I actually auto-tuned this one because I was having trouble getting it exactly right, I'm a bit ashamed to admit. But I like the effect either way. I know I can sing in tune, so this was just a foray into a different sound. ;-)

I like this so much

Just great!!!!!! 10/10 5/5
Your voice is mix between the voices of the Beatles Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran

broosree responds:

Thanks! This is another older one - I made this in 2006 or so I guess. No software instruments - just lots of manipulating one or two sound files (organ/drum).

You have it under jazz

And i hear that it has a lot of jazz in it but what you should do is listen to the Beatles.
I have just bought the Beatles remastered box. Before that i had never really had an interest in the Beatles.... but what i have learned is that they experimented like crazy. You wouldn't believe how much this sounds like the Beatles and hey you can get a worse comparison lol!
Listen to Abby road and the white album especially!
5/5 9/10 -1 because i think the freestyle outro deserves to be more on the foreground especially the higher voice that voice needs to be lifted earlier too.

Great Song Well done!

broosree responds:

What a great compliment! I am truly honored. When I wrote this I was actually thinking of some of Paul McCartney's 'parlor music,' which is related to jazz and popular music of the late 1800s/early 1900s. I love both Abbey Road and the White Album, though Abbey Road is by far my favorite.

Again, I can't say thank you enough for the very kind comparison. I'm enjoying your music!

Music is passion creation is a gift!
