I really Like this!
I have a remark.
Choose for different hand positions. If he can wear shoes why have crooked hands?
The fire lines seem a bit senseless if they are just sitting there....
Yes they point out that he is sonic but if he would look at the fire it would make a world of difference.

Thanks, the crooked hands was to make it more animal like, maybe I should've done it differently looking back:)

-The fire is kinda rushed, it's mainly there to get the red in there so it wasn't all blue.

Work on the horizontal angle of the nose and its relation to the mouth. Those lines are off.

i originally had some on there but it just didn't look that good compared to the regular steel axe-head. so i agree with you that it's missing and should be there but i think it would have taken away from the picture as a whole.

i also was going to write that it was a self-cleaning axe but totally forgot ;P

Something you have just introduced

it was popular in the under comic scene of the 1930' to 50' That is the striped pattern in black and whit ink. Or the crosshair stripes.
However you have created that style with the use of standard photoshop texture structure. In the dino and the background it gives that good old cult feel.

However i am gonna reduct points for 3 reasons.
1 The grass does not fit the style. -1 ( same style would be way better )
2 The lensflare is crap standard and uncalled for the style (never use the lenseflare it is an old and cheesy effect that only works in shot where you look into the sun.) ( it is actually a camera fault ) -1
3 you have more humor than me and i hate that hahahhaha Gimme that bumper sticker i want it!

Thanks for your review. Yeah I was wondering about the grass, it originally had a black border, totally for where that went lol. And yeah most people done think much about the lens flare lol.
