Great platformer

Don't understand why we should still look at 8 bit graphics and listen to 8 bit music.
i haven't got a clue... 10 - 2 for 8 bit graphics and sound.

+1 for balance and addictive value

I can get the nostalgic idea and the retro aspects of such a game.....
But we live in 2010 for crying out loud.
And its not even Snes but nes quality.
and i am not getting it i am not i mean it.

This game is descent in its mechanic i just wish people would stop living in the past....

What is it

That a story like this with a ending so sad. Is always the story that touches your heart more than a story with a happy end.
It's Wonderful Loondon Reminds me of the man in The green mile who with his power helped mankind but his powers were a burden to him.
Loondon was blessed with a good heart but through his appearance he was misunderstood. How often do we judge on what we assume we see and not what is the truth.
I could cry :) No not really but this story tells a sad but true tale. The Tale of Loondon. The only sad thing about this is I would like to see Loondon 2 but is that possible?

fun but

much typing to get to goal.
i understand the principle of bringing the first adventure styles back to life.
But mouse clicking menus would do the same more easy.
It will talk a lot of un nescessairy time to get to all the achievements even when you have the walkthrough.
In this way it takes more time than actually needed to sort the same effect.

The 8 bit music is just something that remains from enferior technologies from the past. I find disturbingly bad -2

Good

Like the game idea.
balance is of and it needs a bit more variation in terms of gun types.
I am currently playing a fully automated defense.
I don't do anything and everything gets destroyed what attacks earth.
Game idea 8/10
I sit back and watch. Balance 6 /10
Graphics reasonable not good not bad. 7/10
Sound is oke but maybe variation would help. 6/10

The circle is complete...
First people and or the media blames video games to be the inspiration fro the mass shootings now the mass shooting become an inspiration for video games.

Freedom of speech you say mmmm i doubt it some media say that you finally got your recognition as a game designer in your opinion.

Ask yourself if freedom of speech is your true motivation.

What the about the mass shootings? Well you have sick people everywhere. I feel sorry about the loss that friends and relatives have to endure.

I feel that if sick people have easy acces to guns these things are bound to prpeat themselves over and over again in time.

The media:
The media in al its forms will have to ask themselves if they want to cntinue to be part of the motive of these sick individuals. By giving them full media exposure and giving them a place in a violent history is one of the motives for the mentally insane to act in the way they do. It should ofcourse not be a reason to kill people but sadly it is.

Entertainment: Whatever disaster or tragic event happens its allways a source for the entertainment industry to make money of of it. Its sad but true. Sometimes they disguise their hunt for dollars by also providing financial relief to the victims.
How many documantaries and movies are made of 911.
i can't even count them anymore. Are they al made with noble intentions i doubt it. People and organisations get exposure and gain financially how many of them actually provide relief for the victims? A few.... It's sad but true.

So my final say on this sad little effort: Stop hiding behind the freedom of speech crap!
Be a man and tell all that you just want the attention.
You will only get real recognition if you make a good game that has not a controversial subject to it it then will be judged on being a game and not a controversial piece of bad work.

Original but needs more simple approach!

I played it and think the idea is good but some how navigating a puppet and drawing your playfield at the same time is to much to handle.
I think you have something unique on your hands here. Something that combines linerider with platformgames.
Still these controls don't do it for me.

It might be an idea to prompt the draw option on points where an automatic walking figure gets stuck. I don't know :)

I like complexity of simple multifunctionalpunches

I like the style and the drawings!
But what i really like the most is that the characters sort of think there way through the variety of punches themselves in that way you dont have to come up with a x + z + shift + ctrl combie Punch and it adds to the fluent gameplay! :) Small thing i didnt like is the screen of lossing background its completely out off style. Everthing is cool drawn flash but this backgrounds looks to be a jpeg pic It's just a small detail ;)
Keep it up you guys!

I like games!!!

Please stop making games with thos crap mario sprites!
I can see that you have skills in progranmming!
But then those horrible little mario puppets!
Leave them SNES guys alone cuz with original graphics you would
have made your own original game!
Now its just another Mario look a like! And when your not doing a parody on them it's not really funny.

Keep up the good work and make sure that you enter the Realm of original game design.

By the way do you think that Tom would have any change of succes if his game was named MARIO HOMINID :P

Good job on the graphics. It looks sick and that is a good thing!
I can see a game in here! But you stopped at the beginning of it!
Add some score and some enemies like animalrights activists that want to risk their lives to save the pigs.. And you are on your way!!
